    Hello everyone! o/

To begin with, as the thread says; hello everyone!

I learned of Hybrid due to a mention in the latest edition of game informer, and being curious for more I decided to come on and check things out. From there I the signed up for the beta and had more or less forgotten about the game aside from checking the news here and there since I did not possibly think I'd be lucky enough to get into the beta. (Because I'm never lucky that way anyway :/)

However as luck would have it, I did end up getting a key on the 30th and after buying an xbox live gold sub (12 month) I activated my key and have been enjoying Hybrid all evening!

This being said, I really do not play much in the way of console shooters, or really any shooters at all for that matter aside from Firefall (PC game). As a result, I kind of (read really really really) do seem to have a hard time getting used to the controls, and then some more trouble aiming effectively when playing. However I am having quite a blast and at this point, I am definitely hoping to get a copy of this game once it goes live/gold!

Well, nice to meet everyone and I do look forward to having fun conversations, or just fun blowing each other up.

Hey, welcome to the forums Hope you have a good time!

If you don't mind me asking, are you going Variant or Paladin? Oh, and how is Firefall?

I *was* going to go Variant and in retrospect I still wonder if I should have because I truly do like their appearance and armor design. :/ However I ended up going with Paladin since it seemed that there were less players. My reasoning being that since I am testing I do want to help at least do my part by making sure that both sides are tested in case there are any differences between the two.

As far as Firefall goes, it is simply too much fun! More specifically having actually parti****ted in testing since the first non-friends/family round of tests, I can say that the game has gotten much better over time and still to my surprise continues to get even better in terms of gameplay, and optimization. Also R5 is an epic development team who really does love what they are working on, and it shows as well.

That being said, if you want an invite to see Firefall for yourself drop me a pm!

I'd take you up on that, but my pc just about runs starcraft 2, and only just. Hopefully I'll be able to replace my pc sometime this summer, I'll have to check it out then.
