    Preview Article / Video Index

A compilation of any relevant / non-redundant development and preview info and hands-on beta previews and videos; intended as a one-stop info shop as far as official and video game press is concerned.

I'll try and keep this updated up to the street date to promote informed general discussion of the beta.

I've been updating the video thread as they've been coming to my attention, but I can't catch everything. Honestly I hadn't thought to collect the other aspects of coverage. Great idea External!

    Just noticed this.

GameIformer, on the website. I'm pretty sure it's the same article from their magazine.

5th Cell's Jeremiah Slaczka On Hybrid

Wait a sec, the article says " And with the addition of up to 18 Drones on the field, it can actually make for a much bigger game than you would anti****te."

I thought that there could only be 12 drones. In fact, this pretty much confirmed 6 players + up to 12 drones.

    Am I mis-reading something?

Nevermind, Yurmit beat me to the Joystiq article. Lol

A nice write up appeared on Kotaku, today:

    http://kotaku.com/5905420/in-hybrid-...y-couple-weeks

It has a bit of information on the persistent war meta-game. Thought this was interesting, too:

"Hybrid will be releasing a Beta this Friday, at which point players will have a chance to play three of the game's modes (there will eventually be 7), and 3 of the 10 maps that will be in the final game."

    Cool.

    Oooo...and another one on destructoid:

    http://www.destructoid.com/preview-a...d-226503.phtml

    Arrrrghhhhh...trying. not. to. be. excited.

    Kablam, and now Joystiq:

    Great! Thanks!
Once I sailed out to sea.
I cried: "I must be free!" And yet,
    Full was I with regret,
When surf cried back with wet decree.

Just a quick update for anyone just now getting keys and looking for info: the beta will be up until Wednesday, May 9th (PDT)

Most of you already know, but since people might drop by here looking for more information about the beta before downloading / as they wait for it, thought I'd just leave that info here...
